2. Short Instructions:
Most people are bored by first reading a manual before dealing with a new software. So I decided to write down only a short one, which shows you the first steps of making a new chart. You’ll find out the rest intuitively, I’m sure! What to do for creating a new chart:
- In this box you can see the abbreviation for the stitch you’ve chosen. While tapping on this box a detailed explanation appears.
- Tap on the yellow box for chosing another color (if you want to knit with different colors, f.e.). Tap on „Done“ afterwards.
Finished!
3. How to continue:
You can share your chart in different ways. Share it on facebook, send it in an email or save it in your dropbox account or foto roll. The app will share not only the chart but also a legend with all of the symbols you have used. Here’s an example:
Choose, how you want to share your chart, in my example I send it in an email. Tap on „Email“ choose the right one in the list and then tap on the envelop on the top right:
An email will open in wich you can see the picture of your chart and its legend. Fill in the addressee, write a text (optional) and then send it.
All other sharing methods are working in the same way, so you can try them all out.
4. Icons and their Meaning at a Glance:
I don’t need to explain much more, the app should be used intuitively. But here’s a digest of all icons and their meaning we’ve used in this app. If you have any question please feel free to contact us by mail with the address I’ve wrote on the top. We’ll try to help as soon as possible!

This box shows you the kind of stitch you’ve chosen as an abbreviation. Tap on it and a little window will open with a closer description of what kind of stitch it is. In this case you could read „knit stitch“ in it. At the end of this manual you can find a table with all symbols and their description. If you are missing one, please write an email to mail@@j-s-designs.de and we will add them asap.! | |||
